Makhyli doesn't do things halfway. After five years as a founding member of the viral girl group Boys World, a run that built millions of fans and landed her in outlets like Billboard, People, and Rolling Stone, she stepped into her solo era in April 2025 with the release of "Breaking Bad," a genre-bending, unapologetic debut that press called a bold, fearless signal of a new chapter.

 

She's been building momentum ever since: six songs, 200,000+ streams and engagements, and a sound that runs in the same fearless lane as Doja Cat and Doechii.

 

Makhyli writes from the gut, most notably on "I Need You," a song personal enough to spark a real partnership with Right To Be. Her new single "Keep You Waiting" arrives September 18, 2026, and with her first live shows as a solo artist just ahead, Makhyli is proving her talent was never about the group. It was always just her.
